Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.

Richard Hoehn  (Master/Owner)
6th Dan/Degree Black Belt in Jidokwon Taekwondo.

Black Belt in San Soo Kung-fu. (Master Don Williams)

Trained in Sin Moo Hapkido, Kickboxing and Law Enforcement Tactics.

2012 U.S. Open International "Self-Defense" Grand Champion.

5x U.S. National Gold medalist (2012, 2011, 2010, 2008, 2006, 2005) in Traditional Forms, Team Forms, Fighting, Weapons and Breaking.

Training and teaching experience in Korea. Studied under Grand Masters Nam Wong Kim, Jul Yul Oh, and Yong Yun Lee.

Inducted into USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame (2007) for being the 1st American to complete a 100 Man Kumite/Grappling challenge based on the masters test set by Mas Oyama of Kyokushin Karate.

Certified National Level Coach under USAT.

Greg Countryman  (2nd Dan/Degree)
Specializes in Stunt work and Fight Choreography.

Tinh Le
2nd Degree Black Belt who has been training with Master Hoehn for over 10 years.

After School Program Staff Member. Her daughter, Devon, is a blue belt and a national champion with Team Adventure.
